Lambracht Axe Works

Reproduction works by Ryan Lambracht were done as early as 2017. Early post with reproduced etches did not note that they were such, but soon thereafter posts on social media with the same heads were explained to be reproduction. The custom etches on these heads are extremely well done, and as a reproduction artist, Mr. Lambracht holds a great reputation. His works include numerous patterns of Black Ravens, including Jersey, Connecticut, and Hudson Bay. Kelly Standards and ornate Mann Edge Tool Company axes have been noted from this shop. Hints to spying these well done reproduction etches are as follows:

• MOST, but not all, etches from this shop include the initials "R L" some where in the etch. In the case of Black Raven etches, the letters are hidden in the upper left hand corner artistic flourishing.

• Lettering in these etches tends to be thin with excessive space around those letters.

• In some instances, lettering is over etched, leaving it excessively deep and balloonish.
