Fees/Payments:

There is no direct cost to attend this event, or at least none that goes to the event itself. However, there are fees for being at the campground/event space. If you are just visiting for the day (not overnighting/camping): Please stop by and pay the daily use fee at the office as you enter the campground. This is $5 per vehicle. Tell them you are there for the Axe Enthusiast Get Together.

Camping at the Group Site:

$15 per night per person. Please PM me about payment by PayPal or Venmo BEFORE the event.

Camping at the Campground but not at the group site:

Please see the Campground website (https://smokymtnmeadows.com) for contact info and options.

Buying/Selling/Trading:

Please note that there is no ATM close to this campground, so bring CASH. If you need to get cash, stop by downtown Bryson City for numerous options. There are no fees for setting up a booth or table. There will be one row for pop up canopies and tents, and directly across will be a row for those who display directly out of their vehicles. Please do not park in the area for displaying if you are simply parking your car.

Give Aways and Prizes:

Each year the event has a giveaway for "prizes" and goodies for those who attend. Some info and rules for those give aways are as follows: You must be present at the time of the drawing to win the assigned item. Though one prize will be related to a guessing game/activity, the majority of the others will be a random drawing of tickets. Tickets are not available for purchase, as no purchase is necessary to take part in the drawings. Each participant of the event will be given one (1) ticket. Each speaker or presenter will be given two (2) additional tickets. This includes past speakers and presenters. Tickets may be distributed on an individual basis for acts of kindness, helpfulness, and participation. The organizer of this event will not participate in the drawings.

Parking:

Please note that in an effort to keep activities centralized, those who plan on showing axes out of the back of their vehicle are asked to back their automobiles, in a row with others in the same situation, up to the event space, opposite the event canopies and tents. Please do not park by campers or in the way of incoming or outgoing traffic. Please do not park in front of the even sign. There will be tape or flags to mark where those displaying axes out of their vehicles should park. If there are any questions, feel free to ask the event coordinator. A Map showing the parking area will be posted in this event page prior to the event.
