Though the Red Warrior line found its origins with the Mann family in the 1860s, the line progressed through the hands of those original Mann family members, into the American Axe and Tool Company, then in to the Kelly Axe and Tool Company, followed by the Kelly Axe and Tool Works, and then finally the Kelly Works of the True Temper Corporation. The final rendition was the 3 Line Stamp Red Warrior, and the last of those were made with ridges in the eye of the head. This worn but sharp example weighs in at 2 pounds and 13 ounces.
