During the final years of the "Connecticut" pattern with the Kelly Works, heads marketed domestically as Connecticut Pattern and Tasmanian heads sold on the export market were manufactured identically. This beautiful head was likely sold under the Connecticut pattern name, and may have been a hardware line or a paper label Woodslasher. It weighs 3 pounds and 11 ounces, and despite having no identifiable markings, it has the typical 6 in-eye ridges of a head made in the early 1960s.
