This beautiful Tasmanian Pattern axe head hails from the early 1960s, when the majority of axes produced by the Kelly Works of the True Temper Corporation included "head lock" ridges, 6 total for full sized heads. One of the few "3 Line" stamps of the 1960s, the Dynamic line typically represented the change in the direction of the company in the 1940s, but the line was resurrected as an export line in the 1960s, hence the "Made in USA" stamp on the reverse face of this head.
