Cardinal Wholesale Hardware Company

Ralph Joseph Cardinal – Canadian National born in 1885. Traveling Hardware salesman for Vermont Hardware in 1911 when he registered for the draft of WWI. Pres Northern Hardware Co (1922-1925). Salesman for Malone Hardware Company 1925-1927. Then, in 1927, he started his own company known as Cardinal Wholesale and Hardware in Malone NY which existed at least through 1940. He was the Mayor of Malone from 1922 to 1939. Died of a Heart attack in July of 1941.
